Berkhamsted 7 Aug 1831 Aged 51 (Baptist)
Great Gaddesden 1828
Witness, together with John Field, to the marriage of Ann Goodspeed to Joseph Stevens 11/10/1815 in Tring.
1841C: William and Mary are together, living with John Field, his wife Lydia nee Goodspeed, and their daughter.
See Notes re Marriage. The mother of witnesses James and Joshua Field is Lydia Goodspeed ch 1776 Tring, so Lydia is likely to be Sarah's sister (or possibly her cousin, or less likely her aunt) making James and Joshua her cousins.
Lydia is the youngest recorded child of Robert and Lydia (nee Sear). If John Cook 1826 is indeed a son of Francis and Sarah, it seems unlikely that Sarah would have been born before 1780.
Therefore it is ASSUMED that James and Joshua are Sarah's cousins. ie they share 'Goodspeed' grandparents. These are Robert and Lydia (nee Sear). Their male children are John 1765 and Robert 1768 Puttenham.
There is no obvious marriage for John, but Robert m Elizabeth Seabrooke 31/8/1788. However no children are listed for this marriage.
There is a marriage of Ann Goodspeed to Joseph Stephens on 11-Oct-1815 in Tring, with witness Sarah Goodspeed - ASSUMED to be Ann's sister.
There is a marriage of Elizabeth Goodspeed to Thomas Liddington on 26-Aug-1799. John Field is a witness (see above).
