Notes
- 1911C: Luton. With Heber.
"... went into an asylum near Arlesey, Bedfordshire in 1918, having attacked her father Heber with a poker. She stayed there for the rest of her life, maintained by money from her family. Reginald Marchant said that the family tradition was that Daisy was jilted by a lover and went funny as a result of that, but the asylum records don't give any background to her admission. Evidently after a while they decided she was not dangerous but had become so institutionalised that she couldn't really be let out." (David Marchant).
