- Louisa was the illegitimate daughter of William FLOYD b1783 who was the gamekeeper for Sir Thomas Seabright for 13 years.
Louisa and her son Thomas COOK b1840 (my 2xg-grandfather) are living with him at Beechwood Lodge in 1841 and 1851 (Julia).

1861C: Luton. As 'Pateman'. Widow. 1821 Flamstead. With Ann 1845, Eliza 1848, Louisa 1849, Peter 1856, Paul 1858, Francis 1860. All born Beachwood (part of St Albans) except Francis born Hampstead (undoubtedly Hempstead) Hertfordshire.
