"No one has ever found a christening in the Church of England Records for Fanny Tearle. I personally guided the research of a professional in England who went through records at my request. We agreed that this had to be the right family for her because of the following. I was able to borrow pages of research notes made and kept by Clarence Budd Johnson from his son CB Jr. (Budd) and make copies. There I found notes of memories of Charlotte Johnson Plyer and Joseph Thomas Johnson, two children of Benjamin Johnson. They mentioned the following relatives. Faulkners, Gadsdens (diff spelling) a Thomas Mead at _____ Farm and Thomas Twidell both full cousins of Benjamin. I found that Sarah Tearle had married William Faulkner, Susanna Tearle had married William Gadsden and they were both children of Thomas Tearle and Susanna Attwell." (Charlotte Easter}
