"The only possible Richard I can find in the area is in Studham, baptized 9 Jul 1592 with no parents' names given. He would fit nicely into the family of Henry Sibley and Helen whom I believe could be the Henry Sibley and Ellen Smith married 25 Sep 1575 Rickmansworth, Herts. They had three children recorded in Studham: Elizabeth chr 10 Jun 1582, Agnes 31 Aug 1585 and Agnes 24 Feb 1589/90 so Richard in 1592 fits perfectly. The other family in the parish records about the same time is that of John Sibley and Isabel whose children baptized in Studham were: John 23 Sep 1582, Dorcus 20 Feb 1584 and Grace 22 Oct 1586. Since Richard named a son Henry, I prefer him as a father. More research needed. Wills and Great Index of Society of Genealogists." (Charlotte Easter of GR).
